Pizzeria Da Rosario in Hochspeyer in Hochspeyer

The pizzeria is in Hochspeyer near Kaiserslautern. A family business. You can eat very well and cheaply here. I can only recommend it.

Very nice, well-kept restaurant, delicious food. In good weather you can sit outside.

Unfortunately not recommended. Ate there with my parents, but the reception was a little strange. When asked if we could sit outside there was only a "I would prefer it to eat inside", which seemed like the staff was too far away. The starter was ok, the bruschetta was quite good, that's why the one star. However, the pizza was already completely soaked (from the fat content of the cheese?), So that when the pizza was sliced, the cheese practically "swam away". In addition, the pizza was so salty that I couldn't eat it. I politely told the waitress when she asked if it tasted good. Her answer was "There have been so many pizzas ordered today and nobody but me would have complained" as if it were my fault that the pizza didn't taste ??? I don't expect to be touched with kid gloves, but this is not the way to speak to a customer. Our bill was € 34.80 and since we didn't want to tip the bad food, we told her to round it up to € 35. Then she put the 20 cents on the table in a very provocative way, as if she didn't want them from us after we criticized them. If you work in a restaurant you have to be able to deal with criticism, otherwise you shouldn't ask if it tasted good.

The external circumstances were admittedly extraordinary (breakdown while mountain biking in the Palatinate Forest, great hunger and thirst, low cash supply), but that can be solved in a more friendly and professional manner. I asked for my ID as a deposit and asked for hospitality on account. That was dismissed as an almost absurd request. Ok, the money was enough on the cent for 2 pasta dishes. And the waitress reacted very rude that we didn't order drinks. As if she hadn't realized our problem

Very good pizza

The pizza was okay. Probably were canned seafood. Otherwise the pizza was okay. The service was under all sow. I have rarely experienced this. Come yourself from the catering trade. And for me a 'good evening' is a request and a thank you from the waitress. Not here, however. :) Do not know if we simply did not want to be served. Are just terribly tattooed. But actually quite nice. Last time here.

Always delicious!

The restaurant is definitely a highlight. The food was delicious and the landlady was incredibly warm. She greets each guest personally and is happy to respond to personal requests. The restaurant itself is incredibly charming and clean. (especially the toilets).

Extremely friendly service, the vegetarian pizza was great - and not only the!

Food is according to the prices. The service unfortunately more ignorant than inattentive. Waiting time of over 1.5 hours for 2 times pizza and 2 times pasta. No recommendation.

3 out of 5 stars The food is delicious, especially the parmesan schnitzel. In summer you can sit outside very nicely. Unfortunately, the waiting times are very long. However, the food is freshly prepared, the schnitzel fruscv breaded. You can see in the kitchen, which I find very sympathetic. It is a typical Italian family business. For this Parmesan schnitzel, I also like to wait longer, but you should plan a little more time. :)

Very nice, big outdoor terrace. Pizza and Schnitzel were delicious. Prices are very moderate. Service was ok.

Food quality tidy, pizza quite delicious, ambiance clean and ok, service a bit inattentive and slow. Improvement in this point would be very welcome. Star rating 2 to 3. Update April 2019: Pizza still delicious, pasta once again unfortunately a bit too soft and tastes rather bland. This can be done better.

Supertoll: D Family atmosphere, all super nice and the food phenomenal. Had a steak that was so tender that I could almost crush it with my tongue on the palate: D

Good food, good service, cozy environment. For sure I recommend their pizzas.

Slow service at lunch

Nice place but the owner is so unfriendly. If you want Italian in Hochspeyer to Da Vinci. The owner is very friendly at Da Vinci. But not at Da Rosario.

The food always tastes delicious.

Bistecca is tender and delicious.
